Short Desc:By providing support for Heath Systems Strengthening and Community Systems Strengthening, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund) strives to maximize the overall impact of the response to HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria while helping achieve the healthrelated Millennium Development Goals. The Global Fund’s Community Systems Strengthening Framework examines how the role of communities has allowed for increased reach and impact of HIV, TB, and malaria care and prevention systems. However, a gap still exists in measuring the success of Community Systems Strengthening (CSS). In order to address this gap, the Global Fund commissioned ICF International to conduct a program evaluation that sought to assess if the investments in CSS programs have improved the effectiveness, efficiency, and results of the HIV, TB, and malaria programs. This is a presentation on the findings.
